While I was studying abroad this past summer in Italy I saw Michelangelo Caravaggio's painting of Medusa so it was interesting to learn more about a familiar name. I really enjoy this painting because I have never seen anything similar to it, i thought it had an interesting look. This painting depicts David holding the head of Goliath and is believed to be his last work before he passed.
