I picked this painting by Michelangelo Carravagio because it was different from his others. This painting of Narcissus is housed in the galleria Nationale d'Arte Antica in Rome. What I found really neat about this painting was how he was able to make it look like his real reflection with the dramatic use of light and shadow. He painted that reflection because Narcissus was a young male who fell in love with his own reflection.
