The Translator: Vincent Van Gogh

I found this piece to be very different than the others but most importantly I really enjoyed its back story. At a certain point in Vincent's life, he worked as a cranky, mean librarian; that ignored all of his costumers. Although, during this time, he would translate the Bible into four different languages: Dutch, German, English and French. Vincent was very patient, so he enjoyed working on this in the corner of the library where he wore his English top hat. Vincent would divide the page into four different parts and work his way through each page until he finished and then he would go to the next one. Depending on the intensity of each page some took longer than others but Vincent believed that painting this Bible would resemble him and a small piece that meant a lot to him in his life. I really enjoyed the story behind " The Translator".
