Favorite Drawing: Relativity by M.C Escher

I really like this drawing because of the illusion it creates. With the use of shading and depth it makes a flat piece of paper look dimensional with the walls and the staircases. It also raises the question of; what is the meaning behind this drawing? where do the staircases lead? This drawing is extremely creative because it opens up the mind to infer it's own ideas about what the drawing is trying to convey. The geometric shapes also add an artistic and pleasing visual, this is a complex but very neatly portrayed drawing.
