Street Art

I chose this painting because I found it fascinating for many reasons. For one it is 3D which makes it look incredibly realistic. Also, the fact that it is painted in the middle of the sidewalk in the city where everyone can see and walk over it is pretty cool too. This Art is very academic because just by looking at it I can get a sense of how much thought and sketching the artist must had done before it was finished. The different colors and proportions of things in this picture makes it seem as if there is a gaping whole in the middle of the sidewalk when really someone could just walk over it to get to where they need to go.
