"Drawers of Memory" -Salvador Dali (1965)
In this small drawing Dali uses lines rather than shading to shape and create the subjects. He also uses perspective to develop the depth of field and show the distance between the shell of a nut and the angel on the rock. This is my favorite drawing because it was created during the early stages of Dali's art and although it is a relatively rare piece, it demonstrates some of the psychological themes that will remain pertinent in much of Dali's more famous works to come.
